- Stan serves on the Autism Research Institute (ARI) / Defeat Autism Now! Executive Advisory Council
- He is on the Science Advisory Board for the US Autism and Aspergers Association and a speaker at the USAAA Annual Conference
- He is on the Medical Review Board for the Center of Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)
- Stan serves as Co-Chairman of Hand in Hand Child and Family Development Center in Encino, California, a non-profit, Regional Center Provider of Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Behavioral Therapies
